Customer Success vs. Account Management/Business Management. – What is the Biggest Difference?

Customer success is very clear about who the boss is. It points to the customer as the boss and keeping that one happy comes in. To this effect, that is why many have commented that you cannot exist as a business if you have nothing to offer. Your customers should walk away from your business with a smile.

When you look at the other side, things are not that simple. This time you focus on a factor that makes it a goal to manage the monetary resources. Doing this as a manager with full accountability. That is now Account management.

Which one comes first?

There have been debates about which one should come first. One school of thought holds that there is no way you can run a business without Account Management. But the other school of thought argues that a business cannot exist with no clients. This sounds like a stalemate the first time you come to hear about it. But there is nothing new about it.
